A Schengen visa allows a stay in the Schengen area for up to 90 days every six-month period.

For Malawi nationals and residents, the Norwegian Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa, is processing Schengen visa applications on behalf of Germany and other Schengen countries via the Norway Visa Application Centre (VFS Global) in Lilongwe, located in Corporate Mall at Chilambula Road (next to Road Traffic Office).
